Trading Casey Mittelstadt Now Would Be a HUGE MISTAKE by the BOSTON BRUINS
But Middle is a bonafide NHLer. He was drafted eighth overall for a reason. And trading him before the season even starts would be not putting your most competitive roster forward. And also a kind of mismanagement of assets because maybe holding on to him until the deadline when he’s had a chance to rebuild his profile would be the better play. So, if you’re going to trade him, at least wait till he gets his value back up a little bit and then see what you can get prior to the trade deadline. Look at what the Bruins got. Minton and a first for Brandon Carlo at this year’s trade deadline because he had some control as well. Middle stack could potentially fetch you the same provided he does indeed uh pop out of training camp and produce a bit once the regular season begins. So, I’m fully on board with keeping Casey Middlestat for the time

Totally agree with you Ian. 👍
I guess it depends what the Bruins could get for him in the offseason, but more than likely a better return as the season goes on
They need to trade him he’s not good in the faceoff for a center and we don’t need any more centers bring up one of the young guys if we can’t get a top player
Just because a guys drafted 8th doesn't mean shit..this guy's lucky to be in the NHL and at almost 6 mill??
I wish some of you knew what you are watching..
Middleatat brings nothing in return
