wow. that was a bad one. normally I'd only post on something like this to mess with philly and LA fans' heads — this was just a straight up fucked up play. i'd go 3-4 games easy, were I the commish. he had time to think about it and just said fuck it and LEAPT at him. wtf.
That is probably the worst decision I have ever seen Tom Wilson make. I'm not sure where that came from either, since he has actually been playing better recently. The only thing I can think was behind his reasoning was he thought Bonino was going to continue turning, or he got there before Bonino could finish turning. I gotta agree with Trotz benching him the rest of the game, that was just plain stupid.
Bonino great guy know him since his AOF days when my dad taught him and glad he's ok. But Wilson is a piece a shit one of the dirtiest untalented players in the league
Definitely a bad decision on Wilson's part. You could tell right after the hit based on his expression that he knew what he did, and wasn't too happy with himself for the hit. Glad Bonino was able to get up and seems alright.
The Caps org/coaching staff weren't too happy with the hit either. Wilson sat the rest of the game except for the few penalty-kills they had.
Ok first off I'm bias LOVE the caps and I really like Wilson, that said this one wasn't clean. His other hits Visnovsky, Zadarov, Lazar (though that wasn't really a "hit") you can make arguments that those were clean big hits. This one is similar to the Schen hit deff a boarding call. But as a reminder Wilson has never been suspended this would be his first offence which means he doesn't have a history so… 1 game suspension if he even gets that.
Gotta love all the people making comments about how the Caps are a dirty organization. Show me a team without at least 3 dirty players, and I'll prove you wrong.

Fuck. Bonino turned at the worst possible second, and maybe Wilson should've anticipated that, or just gone for the puck.
DOPS is gonna give him a 3 game bonus for that.
Mr. Bone still think his favorite goon is a clean hitter?
This was bad, I thought he was clean at one point….losing that belief!

Questionable hit, but i dont think he won't be suspended because I could see his argument that Bonino turned at the last second
