Plz trade Skinner… Oilers have been so close – but was not even close to being good enough … A awe Cup-winning goalie isn’t just good once in awhile – he must be consistently excellent every game … Oilers have tried – but fell short … another ending like the last two Stanley Cup finals would spell the end of Mc David opportunity of winning the Cup… you can’t chance it…

In fairness, for the right goalie, Edholm is an option, his play declined significantly last year following injury.
Detroit has no need of Ekholm for their top prospect goalie. Would it be good for Edmonton, probably. Should Detroit do it? Absolutely NOT if they think this guy is really that good. Ekhold is good but expensive and old. No reason to screwup the system they are working on. Edmonton does NOT have enough pick's for Detroit to even bother.

Ekholm is going no where. I’d bet my life on it. Infact, I’d bet he gets extended too. Him and Bouchard are literally the best pair in the league since the day he got here. Use your heads people.
