I don't see how it's not Domi that at least starts the year riding shotgun with Matthews and Knies. They had great chemistry to end 23-24 and in the playoffs. Seems obvious to me that he's the de-facto replacement for Mitch. Obviously a drastic downgrade defensively and goalscoring but Domi's playmaking is high-end. And his grit and nastiness should pair well with Knies.
On July 1st 2018, Doug Armstrong signed Tyler Bozak and traded for Ryan O' Reilly. Those two players helped put the Blues over the top and win the Cup in 2019.

No body is missing Marner 20 to 30 goals. Marner owns his success to the elite centers he plays with and benefitted from the offensive players around him!
