Martin St-Louis has the proper expression for players like Demidov (he used it for Suzuki) by saying : “He’s got an elite computer. His software is high-end, and he’s got all the tools to do what his brain tells him to do, so he’s very connected that way”.
Elite players all have this trait. Some high skill players have the hands and feet, but dont have the mind to process what to do next, they often become good players, but do not become stars.
Its clear to the eye that Demidov has a very fast game processor, and also has the skill to apply that mind speed to his feet and hands. He is an elite talent and is amazing to watch everytime.
