I created this short video to show this amazing move that Ivan Demidov made at the practice yesterday. I was lucky to be able to record this clip yesterday. Watch the full video on my channel.

  1. Martin St-Louis has the proper expression for players like Demidov (he used it for Suzuki) by saying : “He’s got an elite computer. His software is high-end, and he’s got all the tools to do what his brain tells him to do, so he’s very connected that way”.

Elite players all have this trait. Some high skill players have the hands and feet, but dont have the mind to process what to do next, they often become good players, but do not become stars.

Its clear to the eye that Demidov has a very fast game processor, and also has the skill to apply that mind speed to his feet and hands. He is an elite talent and is amazing to watch everytime.

  2. Demidov was like a 1st overall pick.. His work ethic and will to get better each day will make him a franchise player no doubt !

  3. Too much edge stopped his momentum …Denis Savard was the master of the spin o rama.Plus this is nothing no body contact it is imo pointless.

  4. Crazy how he looks like Kucherov, but I think he will have more heart and passion for the game and the fans.

  5. well i rremember Nick Zherdev perfomances in Russia, when he was just over 16, and his first ganes for CBJ. magic hands. He was going to be better than Datsyuk, but it didnt happen

  6. I’m so ready for this season to start. The rebuild is working and we have the pieces to be a serious threat. This young team, if they can stay together, will be fun to watch for many years. It’s exciting again. Go Habs Go!

  7. He could be in Russia drinking smirnoff now, but he's working hard during the summer in Montréal city. Big congrats to him just for that. He is true hard worker. Un vrai serge!

  8. This guys ankles are just crazy, that would literally injure even half the players in the league.
Same with his 1 foot 90 degree pivot goal he's had last season.
