  1. You can barely hear the double kicking, but at times, sounds like he's playing 32nd notes!!!! Ouch!!!

  2. I saw them twice around 1992 with this great man on the drum and it was amazing. Salutations, Mike, from Rimouski.

  3. MON MEILLEUR GROUPE SUFFOCATION. LA PREMIÈRE FOIS LES VUE EN SHOW À TROIS-RIVIERE .PUIS MA PREMIÈRE ALBUN ACHETER DANS LA VIE DU DEAD MÉTAL . BREDING THE SPWAN OF WHRITING WOW LES ÉCOUTER NON STOP .

  4. even i cant believe i saw him/suffocation in 1992 with konkhra opening. probably the best death metal concert i ever saw and i have a few back in the days. then i only saw them one time again later. in 1995 or something.

  5. I’m 2009 in Atlanta at the Masquerade. We saw Suffocation, Dying Fetus, and Necrophagist back to back to back. By far the best show I’ve been to, was so much fun. Dying Fetus was the best, Just because their style of music gets the crowd going nuts

  6. 3:04 that fill is so clean and magic. Almost drum corps-like. I love how Mike Smith always has such a strong, crisp sound and groove.

  7. I'm not really into death metal, i'm more like a nu metal, metalcore, alt rock, reggae and hip hop guy, but man, Mike Smith's style is something else! One of the most talented metal drummers for sure

  8. I love that he’s not using triggers on his kick drums he just hits hard and when he does that double bass breakdown he’s playing it single stroke. Fucking beast.
