I don't know what to think of this. That would suck to be a ref. As a leafs fan I say fu*k Durzi but as a hockey player I feel like he followed through.
I know Engvall hasn't gotten a suspension before but that's gotta be 5 games, totally unacceptable no matter how mad you are you just used you stick as a weapon and came down with force on the back of a dudes neck. Chicken shit move and very dangerous
Stupid play by Engvall 1 or 2 game suspension. But also embellishment from Durzi? He get up pretty fast to chirp afterwards and was back on the PP right away lol.
First of all Engvall blocks a high stick from Sean before retaliating with a samurai precision black belt stuff.. And as i am Swedish, I think this is an extra two points on the scorebord..;) And for those of you who don't understand irony..( High stick in hockey should never be allowed, not even to the one who started it..)
That's a pure cheapshot…should have been between 5 and 10 games. Some idiots will say Druzi came near first with his stick in front of him but the first contact was Engvall, the whole thing started there and even before a bit but basically there. Engvall clearly uses his stick as a weapon and targets the head of Druzi. The NHL missed it completely here. They look stupid giving only one game to Engvall…and giving 2 games to Slavkowsky of Montreal for example, for what was basically a push by a stronger man to a weaker one!!. Damn, Engvall uses his stick as a weapon!!! What could be more vicious and dangerous than that!! That will not help the general understanding of the rest of the league that the Maple Leafs have a special treatment with the NHL. Just like Sutter from the Flames just said lately. The truth is coming out.
