AFL REDUX 2007 Playoffs West Wild Card Round – San Diego Sharks (9-9) @ Colorado Crush (11-7)



AFL REDUX 2007: What if the Arena Football League didn’t collapse after the 2007 season, but was continuing to thrive to the point there are 24 teams in the league. After a successful 20-team season, the Arena Football League welcomes back the New Orleans VooDoo, returns to Albany, NY with the Conquest, brings back the Detroit Drive, returns to Hartford with a revised version of the New England Sea Wolves, rebrands the San Diego Seawolves as the Sharks and finally, brings in the last two champions of Arena Football 2 (af2) – the Memphis Xplorers and the Spokane Shock. The Columbus Destroyers will return in either 2008 or 2009.

The conference/division alignment for the 2007 season is as follows:

EASTERN CONFERENCE
North Division: Albany Conquest, New England Sea Wolves, New York Dragons and Philadelphia Soul
Southeast Division: Georgia Force, Nashville Kats, Orlando Predators and Tampa Bay Storm
Central Division: Chicago Rush, Detroit Drive, Grand Rapids Rampage and Kansas City Brigade

WESTERN CONFERENCE
Midwest Division: Austin Cannons, Dallas Desperados, Memphis Xplorers and New Orleans Voodoo
Mountain Division: Arizona Rattlers, Colorado Crush, Las Vegas Gladiators and Utah Blaze
Pacific Division: Los Angeles Avengers, San Diego Sharks, San Jose Sabercats and Spokane Shock
