This was a great move. Hope Tarasenko fits great with our skilled guys, could make a lot of people look awfully stupid. Now we need to sign Kuznetsov and have half of that insane World Juniors line. We gave up literally nothing for him. Everyone wants them to spend money on garbage and that’s dumb.
For real I made it 13 minutes into the video and couldn’t watch anymore. How can you guys watch hockey so much and sound so uneducated on it?

Stop the negativity, how could Wild predict all the UFA extensions with current teams , they aren’t fortune tellers. Do you want less fans and or no fans . Maybe you would be happy with no team .

it's the last year of his deal, Tarasenko will be motivated to prove he can still play in the NHL for another contract…You get a proven scorer coming off a bad year and didn't give up any assets…It's a stop gap until better options (that are attainable) become available… Maybe Tage Thompson gets fed up after another bad Sabres season DEMANDS a trade at the deadline, maybe they push the chips in on a top UFA at the trade deadline and then re-sign them in the offseason…

Why the hate here? Who the hell are you targeting with your magical Rossi-Ohgren-1st rd pick offer? The field just isn't that wide. A basically free Tarasenko for one year at $4.5 is a low risk move. Better than Trenin!!!
The FA class is messed up because everyone has money this year and is throwing money around. Bottom line is that making a trade is tough…..especially when you screwed up the Rossi situation.

The UFA class isnt deep this year. Everyone will be overpaid. Better to take a veteran with upside on a one year deal than lock into a crappy contract. At the trade deadline taresenko has incredible value (cup winner, score) we'll come out swinging in 26. Problem is wild wont be sellers at the deadline.

This is a good pick up. It costs us nothing (maybe futures) at a 4.5 million cap hit. Also it was Kirill who convinced Tarasenko to waive his no trade. This year’s free agent market is thin. I’d rather sit on cap space for next year instead of overpaying for slightly above average players. Also Judd and bearded guy overreact to everything. MN pundits are some of the worst.

I hate whiny podcasts. They gave up literally nothing to get Tarasenko with the hope he can bounce back. Ohgren is a LW and will play 3rd line behind Kaprizov and Boldy anyways. I don’t see the problem.
It's a 1 year deal on Tarasenko. You want Granlund 3 years at 7M per?? Boeser 7 years at 7M per? There wasn't much to choose from and most were way over priced.
He is an aging player whose skills are already regressing. He is going to be no better this season than he was last season with his 11 goals. That is a LOT of cap space to use on a 4th line player.
I want zuccky to train and reinstruct young Rossi to score more goals. Ever since zuccky instructed young Rossi to pass more, he got very weak and continued to the playoffs. So I don't like zuccky instructing young Rossi to pass more. I want zuccky to train young Rossi to score more this year. 🤣
