imo about mac and necas, it is very stupid to keep them on the same line especially in todays NHL which tries to make zone entries a nightmare to favor dump and chase hockey. they are BOTH zone entry MACHINES, and because of that necas needs to be on the second line to do setups and entries for nelson. let mac play top line with nuke or landy so he can get a netfront guy that screens and tips his shots.
You have to match the Drouin deal, that’s the change you make.

10:31 YES. I watched that game twice, and then the highlights from that game again, and that game WRECKS me. Also, Landy's goal from Nelson 🤩 I SCREAMED. I've only been an Avs fan for a couple years, so I'd never actually seen Landy play, and his comeback — even for me — was SO emotional.
MacKinnon and necas should be on different lines. If you watch necas, He likes to go to the same places on the ice as Mac and it seems like macs points dropped when necas got here. Most overrated Avs player is definitely Sam Girard!!!
Svatos was underated
I’d have to say unfortunately that Casey Middlestadt was overrated.
Avs gave up a top 4 overall pick in Byram and didn’t get nearly enough out of Middelstadt. Then he gets traded in part for Charlie Coyle. Avs really didn’t manage their assets well with the whole thing.
