Miller is kinda similar to Messier when Rangers traded for him.

I'm not thrilled w/ Sullivan TBH.
You need a coach to change and match that culture which is why they shouldve went after Joel Quenneville not Mike Sullivan. Mike's philosophy is just like him, boring and sucks. He wasnt fired because he was able to get the best out of the Pittsburgh players.

It took JT all of 10 months to be moved by TB after getting hi. Basically for nothing, then a few in Vancouver , and wore out his welcome, first getting a top player traded to the isles, then dragging down Petersen , and Vancouver begging any team to take him, enter the Drury and his wonderful trading skills,cough cough Butch, and 6 months into an 8 yr contract gets shipped to NY….
Let's see how long he can keep his mouth shut before the cancer spreads AGAIN…..

A Brief Rangers History Lesson. In 1991, the first year w/ Captain Mark Messier, the Rangers won the Presidents trophy , only t0o get knocked out by eventual Cup Winner Pittsburgh Penguins . In 1992 the Rangers were greatly disappointing , played .500 Hockey and missed the playoffs . Sound familiar ?/ Only to come back in 93/94 with a new Coach , shrewd trades by GM Neil Smith and went on to win the Cup in 7 games . ONLY TIME WILL TELL !!!
Interesting show. Can't say I see playoffs tho — not enough scorers in this lineup unless Z gets his head straight and Lafreniere steps up, and even then I think it's questionable unless a couple more young forwards have breakout seasons.
What's needed is accountability.
Last year a number of players didn't score, didn't check, didn't do much of anything.
Did Z and Laffy ever sit…even for 1 game?
This year if you are not producing (or even trying), hope they get sat and the young guys get a shot. If you don't want to play, or feel you are too good to back check – get out of the way.
