It would only be a thought if ….and it's a big if ….Mika gets moved. Be nice if they threw a second or a defensive prospect. If we pay Robertson, I would feel better having a prospect in the system for a guy who was recently injured. On the other hand, there seems to be a reluctance for Schenn to leave Saint Louis. I think it's about family, he wants to pick his spot. At the deadline last year he was very hesitant to leave a so-so Blues team for playoff hockey. 5 teams were in on him and he is their captain too . I heard his teammates were not at all happy he was on the block. 🏒
This likely means panarin is gone too and their org depth is getting hit.

I am very lukewarm on the offense this year. We thought last year was frustrating.
A top 6 player injection would of course improve things but i dont think theyre one player away from anything crazy.
Its a tough spot not sure what the best way to go forward is (no pun intended)
I really don't think there will be anymore trades by the Rangers before training camp. That's too much for Robertson IMO & I want to see what we have in our prospects before we trade them away. After this season we'll know whose a keeper & who should be traded. Next year after the season or during is when the trade button could be pressed. I want to see how this team responds to the coaching staff before we keep changing players up.
I'm not trading any draft picks unless Brady Tkachuck is coming back. Robertson is a free agent next season you can just sign him.
Plus I'm setting my sights on McDavid anyway. We're not winning the cup next year. Look to get younger, bigger and faster and add draft picks this season. We have plenty of veterans to trade to make that happen. In my
opinion as a season ticket holder it's not about the 2025/26 season it's about 2026/27 and beyond. Get in lottery hopefully get lucky and then sign the big guy #97 in July. LGR!!!

You need to trade Lafreniere cause he's worthless and overpaid. How are you going to fit Jason under the Cap if you trade cheaply paid prospects?
Stupid, Perrault in a couple of years could equal Robertson. Re: Schenn, he's going to be 34 before the season and statistically he's in decline. I'm sure that's a trade that looks for THIS year possibly, but after that I have my doubts … if I'm trading Berard ++ (only because we have a lot of good youngish top 9 type players in the pipeline), then I want a good young player back, not someone who's going to cost me Kreider money and is probably on the decline after next year and will probably have to be a salary dump.
