Why should we care if Doughty plays I the Olympics? Seems like he cares more about that than being a king.
Doughty should retire from being on the Kings IMHO
Laferriere opened the season playing with Kopi and Kempe.
He got injured and the Kings moved up Turcotte.
Laffy's numbers evened out after and he never returned to Kopi's line.
Not sure why nobody has noticed that when talking about how his numbers slowed.
So you don't want Doughty to play for Canada for rest, but you want Kuemper to play for Canada? That logic doesn't make sense. They are both older players that could benefit from the time off.
Kuemper probably opted out of participating in camp for team Canada. I am pretty sure the organizers had already interviewed him about the possibility.
The fact that he wasn't even invited could be because he has no intention of participating at this stage of his career.
Playing for your country is such an honor….. I wouldn't call anyone selfish for wanting to be a part of that
Wanting to compete and win is part of what makes Doughty the player that he is, so you can’t expect him to just turn down such an opportunity. I’d rather have a veteran player who still wants to compete with elite players than someone who just wants to cruise into retirement.
Any player chosen for the Olympics has potential for injury. It's an honor to be chosen to represent your country, and the club team should be proud of having their player participate.
Doughty and Kuemper can play team Canada, just stay healthy!
Instead of talking about who plays in the olympic games or not we should be worried about upgrading the team. LA needs to be More competitive, aggresive in the market. Not.just wait and see ourselves been eliminated in the 1st playoff round or gave up against EDM….
I think Alex had two goals unallowed due to stupid offsides replay calls
