Victor Olofsson 4/25: Trying To Find Ways To Get Scoring Chances
victor I first just want to put kind of the results of the series aside and just curious how these first three playoff games of your career have felt for you Um felt pretty good Uh the first game was obviously uh um was some uh a lot of feelings going into it Um excitement a little nervous and uh um I think I’ve I’ve played a little bit better these last uh last two Um just got to find a way to to kind of um get more scoring chances and and uh put a puck in the net What has stood out to you about what makes it more difficult to get those good scoring chances uh I think it’s just uh uh teams definitely play uh play more safe if you want to call it that way Uh don’t take as many risks So you’re not going to get get a lot of chances for free Uh you got to got to work and and earn every chance you get Um usually in the in the regular season you’re going to get a um couple uh couple freebies uh I feel like um every game So uh here here you really got to got to bear down and work for your chances Do you feel like you’ve had to change your game a little bit kind of especially then kind of taking away the middle Do you feel like you’ve had to kind of change things um yeah I mean you just got to um not change the game too much Um I feel like just got to bear down and and uh um work to to get into there there’s still like space out there and uh you can still uh make a quick play and get some chances and uh just got to execute on on those plays and um also obviously go to the front of the net and then try to get rebounds and uh some redirections and get some uh some dirty goals Do do you like what your line has been able to do the last little bit even though maybe the scoring chances haven’t been there but feel yeah Um yeah I think we’ve been uh um we’ve been working well together and uh obviously want to want to try to get um uh even more scoring chances and and uh um get on the scoreboard as well Um Carly and Smid had a great um short-handed one uh last night but five on five we definitely want to uh get on the score sheet and um we’re going to uh try to do that tomorrow What was the primary focus of whether it was the message before practice or just what you were honing in on practice um I mean obviously I think um and looking at the result yeah we’re down two to one Um last night I think we we did play a good uh game um overall It’s just uh um I mean we uh made made a few mistakes and uh it cost us some goals uh um in in our end and um it’s tough when you uh when you fall behind and got to chase the game So uh definitely a good start uh tomorrow will benefit us
