Not about today's rumors but I have a trade idea from Vancouver hoglander mancini and a 2nd round pick from Boston Pavel Zacha what do you think.
Most training camps start by September 18th. GMs only have a week or two to move roster players or they are messing up their lives having them move right before the season.
The Blues are not trading Kyrou to Montreal….staaaaaahp
Not trading Laine for Kadri, that is absolutely ridiculous. Laine IMO is a locker room distraction, also lazy during 5 on 5 play, he’s dead weight. Kadri has stated that he would move to a contending team near his home province of Ontario, not just Toronto or Montreal.
Liane isn’t anywhere close to the same value as Kadri.
Why would the flames want to move their top center? They tied for the last playoff spot last year but lost on win's. Where would Roslovic fit in the lineup? Imo he isn't a #2 center and leafs already have their bottom six center spots filled. Leafs are in on everyone from Toronto journalists.
Kadri is perfect. I'd rather him than McTavish if it means keeping Reinbacher

Update: Tkachuk WILL have surgery, targeting a return for Game 1 of the playoffs.
I would be shocked if MTL wanted Kadri. Too old, too expensive, too much term. Hughes is no one's sucker.
Would offer Reinbacher for McTavish and then trade for Rasmus Andersson
LOL no chance Liane goes straight up for Naz,~~!!.. his production falling yr after yr and Naz is still producing. It would require ALLOT more from Mon to do this deal. Maybe Backlund straight up or Colman. PLUS I doubt Connie has forgotten about the screwing over the Flames took to deal Monahan there, so lopsided it was an embarrassment, i would guess it would need to be lopsided the other way this time.
You believe that guy until he talk a lot about your home team… The odds of Habs trading for a 4y 7m Nazim Kadri are lightyears from what Habs management have done and talk about doing. If they happen to do it, I'm doing a shoey for y'all to see it.

Been a. Canadiens fan for 60 years. Getting Kadri could change that!! While I couldn't see my being a fan of any other team I could see myself walking away from the game than cheering for a POS like Kadri!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can we stop suggesting Nazem Kadri to MTL, he is 31 so doesn't meet the projected timeline for competition his production will begin to drop after 1-3 years which is when MTL will be the most competitive.
They are not going to make that trade it doesn't make sense.

Montreal is the little boy who cried wolf. 😂 No one even cares what news is coming out of Montreal. Just because Montreal finally made the playoffs, now they have something to talk about. But no one wants their bag of pucks for Kadri, McTavish, or Kyrou. Just stop it Montreal.
If I’m Calgary I wouldn’t want laine, way too many problems and injuries with that guy. Plus Kadri is worth a lot more than laine.

Montreal is not trading for Kadri, he doesn’t fit Hughes’s trade parameters… first of all he will be 35 when the season begins, he has four years left on his contract, so that will definitely block a prospect… so all three are against Montreal’s game plan
