Robertson maybe a young player. But I think him and hildabeast can be traded along with kamph and yarnkrock. Pittsburgh will like Robertson and Kamph . I just think Robertson needs a fresh start where he can get more minutes. And kamph is good at the 3 or 4th line center and would be key on the penalty kill. Hildabeast is a decent G but I don't see him cracking the lineup with Stolarz and Woll playing great for Toronto.

Very much ridiculous that so many “fans” want Robertson’s career over with Toronto because the man spoke up for himself. If any of these people felt they are better than what they are being offered, they would go to their EMPLOYER and SAY IT.
Why would any team trade for any of the Leafs players that they are willing to part with? A few of these players will be on waivers before the season starts so why give up assets if they don't need to. No team is willing to do the Leafs a "favor".

Never liked Robertson, i wish the Leafs would move him. Perhaps now he has a short term contract someone will take him, they will have a 1 year window to decide if they want to keep him, i personally think he has a big head and a medium talent, but whatever……..i just dont want to see him with the leafs any longer

Keep Domi, move Kampf, Jarnkrok, Robertson, and Reilly! The Leafs roster needs more size, grit, and physicality to compete with the Panthers. Being a soft team, will not win you a Stanley Cup, period.
Why Rust over Rakell? Rakell would be a fkin stud playing in the top 6 with either Knies and Matthews or Nylander and Tavares. Jesus Christ if this happens I am SOOOO all-in on this team again! Oh Lord please tell me they can make Rickard Rakell work. He was phenomenal last year. He had like 80 points on the Penguins, I mean come on! He'd put up 100 with AM and Knies, and I'm 100% serious! So,,, Mathews has to play abit more like Gilmore/McDavid, and a little less like Tucker/Tkachuk, to save his body.
That means play-making, instead of play-doing (digging, banging, etc..)

Knies and Robertson are excellent play-do-ers.
Marner : 29yr, 180lbs, 2 hits/season.
Robertson : 23yr, 178lbs, 200 hits/season. (guesstimate)

Robertson and the Leafs' second round pick for Pittsburgh's 5th round pick. He may have "potential" but his playing time and usage in the playoffs indicate Leafs' management team don't value him. Knowing this why would any team play for him? At this point in time, he is a salary dump and teams will want to be compensated for it. (Remember the Flames had to give up a 1st round pick to get ride of Sean Monahan.)

Not a fan of Robertson, he is just an average player , and In my opinion he has already shown himself to be a problem player in the league, and I,m sure most teams brass has noticed this. That being said of course he can be a good player for any team, but just average.
