The National Hockey League New York Islanders have been in Nomansland for the past 30 seasons. After being the big winners at this year‘s NHL draft lottery and moving up into the number one spot the Islanders took the top prospect generational defenseman Matthew Schaeffer with the first pick. The Islanders added two other first round draft picks, but it will be at least two years before those players are in the National Hockey League in today’s video.
