This shocking encounter happened in Alaska’s beautiful but wild Katmai National Park. Buoy, along with Kraken forward John Hayden, was on a goodwill trip, enjoying some fishing when the grizzly bear made its appearance.
The video shows the ferocious mammal taking several aggressive steps toward the sea troll mascot before deciding to back off, letting Buoy and the team members escape unharmed.
Kraken player John Hayden joked that the bear was just curious about Buoy’s unique costume, which included his usual game-day look plus fisherman’s coveralls. He described it as a ‘close call’ during their trip.
