there’s like 12 13 games remaining and Boston is is three points up on the Florida Panthers which tells us uh we want Florida start that Chan again buddy if I’m Toronto my mentality is it doesn’t matter we have to focus on being the best version of themselves and I honestly believe that this Leafs are the best version of themselves where yes they’re getting the depth scoring but Austin Matthews and nander and Marner they have the ability to take over the series you know you have the two-headed monster in net samsonov and wall pushing each other and the D collectively as a group they have seven eight guys nine guys that can step in that could be a recipe for Success so honestly you know we saw Boston get upset last year in the first round yeah Florida May Toronto may be the underdog against a couple of these teams in the playoffs but if they are playing at the best version of themselves I’d like them more than any one of these teams uh in the division because they have that offensive Firepower if their special teams are special they’re getting solid not spectacular go tending they I honestly believe they could beat either of those teams in seven games
Whether it’s Florida, or Boston, Toronto has to focus on themselves.

That offensive firepower is only effective in the regular season though.
The Leafs do not, repeat do not – have 7,8, 9 guys who can 'step in.' They got nine guys can strap on skates but, individually or collectively, they are not a Stanley Cup calibre defense.

Matthews needs to be surrounded by the grit of Domi and Bert in the playoffs. I think it will bring out the beast. I've seen enough of him and Marner disappearing cuz they're getting out-battled. Watching Marner get slapped around by Tkachuk last year turned my f-ing stomach. We don't need timid bitches doing 23:00 minutes a game in the playoffs, period. They should show up with warpaint on ffs.

They have no depth scoring , the PP is extremely predictable , outside 1 or 2 forwards nobody wants to get pushed around in front of the net trying to get greasy goals.
The defense flat out stinks. Reilly looks like he's lost a step but I do have faith cause he's a gamer come playoff time. But they don't have any pairing good enough to even slow down a teams top line.
Goaltending is a question mark I wouldn't be surprised if one of the 2 steals a game or 2 but I wouldn't be surprised if either chokes on the big stage of the playoffs in canada
