Connor Hellebuyck’s Playoff Struggles Continue — Time to Worry? – Frank Seravalli

Despite being up 2-1 in the series, Connor Hellebuyck has had a far less than impressive showing in the 2025 playoffs to this point. Is it time to be concerned?

Who do you have coming out of this series?

  1. First stupid Frank said the Blues would not make the playoffs–then he continues to criticize them. He's got a problem with them makes no sense!

  2. Hellebuyck, during game three of this month’s Blues-Jets playoff series, allowed multiple ugly goals.

  3. One game. We can all agree the Blues have been pushing hard all series. This looks like you guys were just waiting for the Jets to drop a game so you could slam the Jets Hellebuyck, special teams, etc. I hope the Jets win the cup so this can sit here forever exposing how bad a take this is.
    Be better.

  4. The difference between Connor Hellebuyck and Jordan Binnington is Binnington won a Stanley Cup and he's a psychopath.

Binnington has records in obtaining the ultimate goal of every player in the NHL. Hellebuyck hasn't been proven in the playoffs. That's the "x" factor in this series.

As controversial as the disallowed goal was it also showed how phenomenal Binnington is when it really matters. He has the ability at key moments to make insane saves.

  5. Yhe jets defense let hellebuck down last game. It was just awful game all around. Helley is gonna lock it down for the next 14 games.

  6. Blues can score off the other goalie too so th jets do got something to worry about don’t think for a second we can’t

  7. Hellebuyck had a terrible game, no question but the whole team played like garbage. You can’t give NHL players three plus seconds uncontested in the circle to get a shot off and expect the goalie to bail you out. The jets were out hit, out shot, out chanced and all around out played, the whole team lost that game not a single player. If they’re using last years first round embarrassment as fuel for this years playoffs, game three should refresh their memory of what happens in the playoffs if you don’t bring your A game every night. I’ll wait to see the jets response in game four before I get worried.
