A journeyman goalie who had wild swings in terms of his level of success in the NHL, Anton was a favorite of mine.

  1. Just want to put a little clarification, Khudobin was traded to the Hawks in March of 2023, and only played part of a game that season.

  2. You should do a video on Clint Benedict. People don't really know about him these days.
    – Why it's called the Vezina & not the Benedict, is beyond me. Clint was sick in between the pipes. 100 times better then Vezina.

  3. In 2020, against Vegas, that was literally the ultimate high of his career. He literally killed their offense.

    As he once said:
    "WE'RE NOT GOING HOME!"

  4. I will best remember Khudobin for the 2020 Finals Run with Dallas in the Bubble. Even if I was rooting for Tampa that year, I can't deny that Khudobin was a beast for Dallas that playoffs.

  5. Dobby brought that gregariousness that most of the NHL lacks. It made him easy to cheer for and the effort was always there.

  6. Thank you for your magical run in the 2020 postseason for the Stars, Khudobin, even though you guys fell short. Enjoy your retirement.

  7. Khudobin was not Vasy or Bob, and even wasn't a starter most of his time in the NHL, but for sure he had an interesting career. He could left for KHL many times (had many offers), but he wanted to prove he is NHL level goalie. He deserved his miracle 2020 run. Now, Dobby has a video about himself on my favourite hockey channel, never thought that will happen. And he's such a cool guy, btw))

  8. Played 1year in Juniors with the Saskatoon Blades. He was on a strong team with Devin Setoguchi & Wacey Rabbit. Interesting or strange NHL career … Thought he was a life-time back-up goalie until he had an AMAZING moment starring in the 2020 Stanley Cup Finals with the Stars. Thought he would've taken off after that.

  9. Khudobin and Tim Thomas both prove why you don't write off a goalie just cause were like a decade past their draft year

  10. His numbers are more than solid. Surprised he didn’t play more. Will never forget his “WE’RE NOT GOING HOME!!”

  11. Khudobin was really good for a couple years there in Dallas, was definitely cheering for him in 2020

  12. The crazy thing is he wasnt ever like bad. Just depth every where he was basically. And funny u mention depth in minnesota u could say this season ahead is 1 of the few unsure seasons going in about goalie depth. Theres Gustavsson obvious #1 elite but we just dont know about wallstedt, health was an issue last yr and some wonder hout the mental because of that but also told to get an apt in st.paul then didnt play in minnesota hardly.
