  1. Great video. I'm hopeful about the Briere / Jones rebuild because they have a long-term view and are empowered by ownership to stick to that. Let's hope they can keep that patience this time and we're not talking about another Bob down the road, or even talking about how Danny stole a guy like Bob from somebody else!

  2. Holmgren was good at discovering talent but keeping talent was another story. He was too trigger happy. While we got a nice overhaul for Richards and Carter it was still questionable to trade the two cornerstones of your team especially when you were 2 wins away from winning it all. We also gave up too soon on Bob when we should have found a solid backup who could mentor him. Boosh did that but was at the tail end of his career. Now Stolarz and Bob both have a chance to hoist the Cup and I will be happy for both of them. That being said I agree with you that we should not give up on Ersson too soon. He put this team on his back for 3/4 of the season and just ran out of steam.

  3. Speak for yourself JP. A lot of us never thought giving up on Bob after basically one full season as a starter was a brilliant idea

  4. Sure the Flyers messed up with Bobrovsky but how many players did they get rid of that didn't do much later on or were even out of the NHL in a few years?
