JUST SIGN HIM ANAHIEM
If you’re Steve Yzerman, there’s no shot in hell I’m moving ASP without a huge return. The only other RHD somewhat close to the NHL are Tuomisto and Anton Johansson. Tuomisto is at best a 3rd liner, but probably an AHLer long term. Johansson is going back to the SHL, so his timeline is probably 2-3 years out.
If they move ASP, they have a chasm at RD behind Seider and the only option to solve it in the next 3-5 years is free agency or trade. That’s just shifting one problem (LW1) for another (RD).
Moving prospects for McTavish is fine, but not shot in hell am I sending ASP. I’d consider Danielson, but Anaheim has a surplus at C anyway. I’d part with Danielson, one of Wallinder or Buium, and a lottery protected first.
Red wings won’t get rid of pellika
Unless Anaheim is gonna go full tank, I don't see McTavish being traded.

I would like Anaheim to keep McTavish but if he is traded it is going to have to be for a huge return. A legit, young NHL ready RD, a first round pick in 26 and a 2nd in 27. A big price, but anything less I just wouldn't do it.

A lot of videos about a fat guy who played behind Trevor Zegras in the line up last year. He will sign a bridge deal and go back to the 3rd line and that’s that.
Detroit wanted Cozens, Ottawa got him. Detroit wanted Dobson, Montreal got him. Detroit can't let another one of the players they want go to a divisional rival.

Kid looks super husky for an NHL player. I'd be concerned about his off ice discipline.
1:00 All contract propaganda. Hughes won’t get caught up in the games. He won’t overpay for the sake of getting a mid level player. Also who cares about Detroit or the Ducks. Or their relationship. All propaganda. If he were to fit in the planning of the Habs management he’d have already be acquired.
