  1. Ya I wouldn't trade Reinbacher for McTavish, I think Reinbacher will be more valuable in the future, a top pair RHD who can play all the tough defensive minutes rather than a 2nd line power play 2 guy.

  2. The X brothers and Dach maybe? Add Price if Ducks need to get to revenue sharing? Maybe Reinbacher straight up with a Anderson/Gally/Price but Montreal shouldn't go that far for Mason in my opinion.

  3. RD is a hard position to fill and to get a top 4 RD will cost alot in FA or by trade. Trading Reinbacher creates a hole on the right side of the D corps. A good GM doesnt fill one hole by creating another especially when the hole you create is a highly sought after position. Keep Reinbacher, Hage and Fowler. Listen on anyone else.

  4. Haven't the Hans already traded away a R d-man? Now we're discussing trading another premium, if not elite, R d-man. If they do this then we're back to that being a need. Thanks but no thanks. Pick another trade victim

  5. With Dobson ready to eat 25 mins a night. Maybe Bogdan Konyushkov at 2RD would be more than adequate. Not many players I would be willing to trade Reinbacher for. But McTavish is for sure what we were hoping Dach could be. I do it.

  6. Ya you have to make that deal.. Reinbacher could turn out to be an Owen powers type of failure. Mctavish gets you closer to the cup. Also Defeceman are available often during free agency but a top 2 centerman are rarely available

  7. I'm literally laughing our loud at how many of you value the unproven / unestablished / injury-plagued 5th overall pick D over the proven / established / 3rd overall centerman. You trade from a position of strength (D) to fill a position of weakness (C), this is pretty basic stuff folks.

  8. Would trade injury prone Reinbacher in a heartbeat. Like the kid personally but, like Dach, always seems to be injured. Don't care how good a player is, he's of no use if he can't be relied on to play on a regular basis.

  9. I’d prefer keeping Hage & Reinbacher and exploring promoting someone from within to start the season. Perhaps giving Beck a good look or Kapanen more ice. If it goes too far south early, try to wrestle a Forsberg, O’Reilly type as a stop gap until Hage is ready. If Dach is out for a lengthy period though, they may have to explore moving Matheson & a pick/ Roy to get another forward. My opinion.

  10. If we had not traded Mailloux, then I would have been fine with Reinbacher++ for Mctavish. But without another RD prospect ready to make a jump into our lineup, I can't see Hughes making that trade. Unless there is a plan to have Matheson or Engstrom move to the right. Engstrom spent most of his time in the SHL on the right side. Unfortunately Bogdan was just extended for 1 more year. So he would not be ready for 2 more season. I guess we'll see

  11. Reinbacher would be enticing, but the Canadians would need to give up more. Reinbacher still has potential to be a top four D but his value isn't what is was when he was first drafted.

  12. You have to look at context in deciding how valuable Reinbacher is. If he was the only good defensive prospect, his value to the Habs would be much greater. But with studs like Guhle, Dobson, Hutson already there, we can easily fill the other spots with the prospects we already have. McTavish's impact would more than compensate for the loss of Reinbacher who is also injury prone. If if sustained such a serious injury from such a benign hit (go watch the replay), the type of hit that happens dozens of times every game, I doubt he will have a long career.

  13. Guys Habs digest has 22 k subs BUT leafs digest have 23 k!!! Lock in!!

    GO HABS GO❤️⚪️💙

EDIT: good news! Bruins digest had like 7.3 k.
So where beating the bruins (as usual 😏)

  14. You guy's are {"LUCKY"} the Habs has a manager that has more patience than the fans have because we'd be in a mess again already. It's a Hockey Game & a Hockey team doing great in it's [chartered course] so let it be you guy's a just be a {"FAN"} & let patience guide the ship's course?

  15. Reinbacher vs Mctavish is a safe trade but than you just have another hole to fill, the other problem that creates is the cap issue, Mctavish will be a 7-8 million dollar cap hit. We will have to sign Hutson to big money not to mention Demidov will get a raise in the next few years.

  16. We just traded Mailloux so let’s not trade Reinbacher too. It’s too soon to talk about being injury prone

  17. We have to give something to get something..we just can't keep everyone!..if we need a 2 center we will have to give someone..that's the way it is..Noone is going to give you anything for nothing!!

  18. Hage has proven nothing..reinbacher has proven nothing. Even demidov has proven nothing….but i love your optimism..florian has proven nothing..owen beck has proven nothing..Fowler has proven nothing…veleno has proven nothing in 5 seasons..dach is a lemon..carrier and hutson will be knocked out come playoffs…slavskovsky needs to average 85 points a season to be a threat…btw go habs go !!!

  19. I want Reinbacher to STAY in Montreal. I don't care for McTavish. I will therefore "unlike" this video.

  20. I do t think I would trade Rienbacher for MacTavish.
I would probably go with a Zacha that would cost much less until Hage is ready.

  21. Reinbacher is just another injury prone player, trading him is the smartest decision

  22. The D that we traded that you where alluding to Ryan McDonagh for Gomez or Sergachev for Drouin because they both ended up SUC KING for the Habs….

  23. McTavish does not have a track record establishing him as a good 2C. If he had a couple years of production at his last year's level then I can see overpaying for him – we will have to overpay for one but for an established centre.
Another factor is where Anaheim is on their development curve. Given McTavish's age it would make no sense to trade him unless a team is willing to vastly overpay for him.
Our better play is to wait for Detroit to play themselves out of a playoff position, then go after Larkin. A combination of a first round picks and several prospects would probably do it. Especially if Detroit gets McTavish, this would lower the cost for Larkin.

  24. I would do reinbacher for him . I’m seeing a future dach in reinbacher he’s seems to be very injury prone 3 seasons three major injuries
