On June 30, 2025, Marner was traded to Vegas. It was a big trade. The Maple Leafs sent him away and got Nicolas Roy back. At the same time, Marner signed a new deal with the Golden Knights. The contract is for eight years and is worth $96 million. That’s $12 million per year.
