New York Rangers IMPOSSIBLE DECISION…

Heading into this upcoming training camp and preseason the New York Rangers are going to have some very difficult decisions to make involving the lineup combinations. The Rangers are going to have some huge competition for a few bottom-six wing spots available, and one big question is what they will decide to do with Matt Rempe.

  1. With pick ups like radysh and the guy from pit I forget his name what line are these guys playing on we have a slew of 4 th liners.

  2. It's Matt Rempe all day, every day & twice on Sunday. He's just what you want–a young guy committed to improving his game & dedicating himself to it. He has more ability that fans think, & what he needs is a growing confidence to demonstrate it. I can't get that image out of my mind of him taking the puck in his own zone & wheeling up ice with it at season's end. I see him as a future 4th line center. There are way to many forwards right now & if Parsinnen or Brodzinski are centering the third line I'm not going to be happy. All the best to Jimmy Vesey in the great nation of Russia.

  3. Ever since Rempe was taught to control himself he has become a solid and improving play. He has great speed, first on forecheck, usually wins the puck or forces quick releases, makes smart plays with the puck, blocks the front of the net. Rempe all the way.

  4. Funny thing is Rempe has pretty good hands, his shot from inside the circle is pretty good. He has to learn to body people off the puck effectively without taking penos'. On the defensive end, his positioning has to improve. If the play breaks down, either he or Enstrom have to fall out and cover the break out. He's not fast …he just takes up stride space, but if he's chasing, he's not going to catch up with the play most times. And if he does, does he know what his responsibility is? Who ya got Matt? :)!A lot of 4th and 3rd line strategies have to come from Sully. Consistency in their attack/cover would be a welcome change from the fire drills we've all been watching🏒

  5. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." applies to the Rangers fourth line.
Soft, non scoring and non checking players are what needs the fix.

  6. Not having Rempe would be a huge mistake. That line is already one of the toughest fourth lines in the league physically and they play very well together. With Matt Rempe only getting better, it would be idiotic to not have that line be Edstrom Carrick Rempe.

  7. They need to let the kids play, and not the usual 5 or 10 game stints. Give Laffy first PP time and move him to his natural side. Need to see Othmann & Perreault in the line up. They should start the season with their lines like this
    1- Laffy- Miller- Perreault
    2- panarin Mika Cuylle
    3- Othmann-Vinny – Raddysh
    4- Enstrom-Carrick-Rempe
