  1. Yes, keep players with half season injured, and dont give a young player who played last 2 seasons without a missed match a new contract. Well managed Mr. Guerin and Hynes.

  2. Probably the least protected player in the league. I have never seen someone get as abused as EK with the officials turning the other way. I wish he would drop his gloves once or twice and let someone have it, I think it would help with the liberties being taken against him. The ankle break against Pittsburgh was devastating for that playoff run, just a fluke injury that happens. This guy is one of my favorite players – always shows up and is a complete pest nightly. With EK, there isn’t a team in the league who wouldn’t love this guy penciled in game in, game out – couldn’t agree more. As for a grade, still a B in my world, way to valuable to the long term goals going forward.

  3. Ek brings a bag full of intangibles to the team. They can’t do anything without him. I think that his size and presence allows his line to function, he doesn’t allow himself to be ignored.

  4. I wonder what kind of return the wild could get in trade for Ek? The injuries would definitely impact the return, but he's a perfect 3C for a Cup contender. Is Ek worth a top 6 scoring forward? If yes you could then roll with:
    1C Rossi
    2C Yurov
    3C Hartman
    4C Sturm
