How Alex Ovechkin has changed his pro stock sticks throughout his career

Everyone knows what curve Ovie uses, but a lot of people don’t know about the detailed specs of Ovie’s sticks and how they have changed over his career. Thankfully I do know the details, and I decided to make a video to show you guys. I feature my collection of pro stock ovechkin Bauer Vapor APX (G3), Supreme Totalone NXG’s (G3), and CCM Trigger’s in this video.

If you want to try out Ovechkin’s pro stock curve, we have made it available in left and right hand at www.ProStockHockeySticks.com, our next inventory batch will arrive in about three weeks (mid august 2020)

  1. Is the laine a heavier stick because it is longer also? Are the Ovi sticks with your heavier steel blade light?

  2. i think pro stock sticks have reinforced carbon fiber so they wont break as easily. i think that adds weight. its nice to see other stick geeks out there because i thought i was a freak. Definitely should do a tape job vid. good stuff

  3. I have one of the first gen 2007-2008 10.0's that still has the carbon fiber blade and its 100 flex. Might of been a experimental batch but. Also, that carbon fiber blade almost feels like a thin wooden blade with a carbon fiber wrap.

  4. I experienced having better Onetimers having a little heavier stick. By the way I am not a beer league player. I play in the first German U17 League

  5. I have one of his Super Tacks AS3 Pro, it's still a 100 flex but the stick itself was about 370 grams without any tape on it at full length. That's quite the big change

  6. I have an as3 pro that says p88 ovi. Blade is the same curve and dimension as my old nexus1k and ngx p88. My 2s pro p88 kane same thing

  7. Would you (pro stock) be able to tell whether a stick is actually "game used" or intended for ovis use in a game?

  8. And now he is using Geppetto's sticks… things realy went full circle heh. Congrats on the journey
