If Reinbacher can stay healthy, based on his play in the AHL he looks to be the ideal partner for Hutson. If that happens, Habs top 4 could one day be the best in the league.
You might have to give up Guhle and picks maybe a prospect for a good 2C.
reinbacher va etre meilleur que dobson dans 2 ans
No one wants Roy
I've been a fan since '86.
these are good times for habs fans…lots of reasons to feel optimistic about the next few years
I mean xhekaj Strubble are probworth 10% of the price for a real 2C so not moving the needle much lol. Same for a guy like roy or beck it’s like the extra you pitch in to make the last needed extra push.
If only one of Struble, Xhekaj, or Engstrom was a RH D we would be set for years to come. Maybe one of them can learn to play on their off side. Training camp is going to be fun to watch! I NEED SOME HOCKEY! Keep the faith and Go Habs Go!
Moving Xhekaj would be a big mistake.. Even if hes never more than a 3rd pairing guy, he offers something NO ONE ELSE on their current dcore offers: Hes a deterrent, look at the top 6, dont you think hes needed? Ask any skill guys on any team, if they appreciate "Xhekaj types"..
Beck. 6' 200lbs and will be a solid defensive forward for a long time in the NHL and he's already good in the face-off circle…..beware dealing him.
Hage is only a year away . 70-80% chance. In my opinion. No need to sell Arber Xhekaj. BECK or Oliver i Agree with .
Seems like a must-make-the-playoffs kind of season.
Reinbacher can do another full year in Laval
People forget how good Reinbacher really is. His skating is great especially for his size and his physical aspect is actually super underrated when he was playing in the swiss league in his draft year he was rubbing guys out on the boards and winning lots of puck battles can't wait to see him in MTL as long as he stays healthy.
i would much rather see Stuble moved than Xhekaj. Arbour reminds of Chris Nilan in the intangibles he brings to the team. It would really negatively affect the team moving him it seems.
There is no other Arber in the league, there are many Strubles. I think its far more likely Matheson and Struble are moved giving room fro Reinbacher and Arber to solidify their spot, and engstrom to secure 7th D. Trading Arber, especially after years of constant improvement and physical dominance, would be an incredible error. D come into their prime at ~27, he's got so much more time to get his game together, and he'll likely always be satisfied at a lower cap hit.
Mind you, it's not realistic to be able to keep every prospect if the roster is healthy and doing well aside from the top one. The top ones currently are: Reinbacher, Engstrom, Hage, and Fowler. Beck has shown possible faceoff ability in the NHL, but did not bring out much offensive acumen yet.
If the Habs trade Xhekaj in order to keep Struble, the habs will be in real strouble. Xhekaj is one of the best in the league at his role, meanwhile, Struble is just average.
Bla bla bla🤡Reinbacher is not going anywhere
Mesar and Roy before Beck / the better pedigree ☝️
You guys get soo excited every single day for 2 months and for 2 months every single day absolutely nothing happens lolol
Xhekaj is far more valuable than struble. Struble is average at best
Guys if you're excited about Laine like I am,why is he on the 4th line,a top 6 guy on the 4th line, no, no,no,you want 3o or more goals not possible on 4th line, it's frustrating seeing him there, dack belongs on the 4th line, give bulduc a shot at centre with demidov and Laine, please get him out of the 4th line
I think newhook is the odd man out
Huston Dobson Edinburgh Rainbacher Guly …iin Stanley's coup Carier gonna clean the AICE under Pawns dreaming
LANE on the 4th line? you are on crack. Gallagher goes there.
these Montreal d men remind me of the leafs in the 80ies with those young d men..
We’re so fixated on the lineup that we forget about injuries. Championship teams have depth that they can insert in the lineup at a moment’s notice. I’d keep both Xhekaj and Struble on D as well as Beck as a call up centreman. I think Roy is in the most trouble as a trade chip.
Would be happy to trade Kapanen, ideally keep Beck
Arber alone isn't that impactful and Struble is better But Arber WITH Florian at the same time in the playoffs could be huge.Anf Roy is not an NHLer. He will end up in Chicago.
