Regardless of how much Robertson will make the Leafs will try to trade him and if they can't then he will be placed on waivers and in my opinion he will clear waivers. He will be playing for the Marlies.
Frankly, i had enough of Robertson before last season, talks big, but his play doesnt match his self praise, move him for whatever you can, 3rd round pick or whatever.I just dont like the constant drama with him, so get what you can moving him.
On a per minute basis nick is not only twice as productive as any of the bottom 6 he is nearly as productive as the top guys. He has played less minutes in 3 years than marner has in 1. Yet hes still has over 30 goals and is a good plus player. It would be shockingly dumb to let this guy go
I've got this gut feeling that Cowen is going to make the team so it could be good riddance for a couple players except Bobby.

McMann is a great player. Perfect for the 3rd line. Can also be on the 2nd pk. He can move up and down the lineup, get into the corners and battles, hits, and has a great shot. He has a great contract as well.
Leaf haters ignore Joshua had cancer last year and point to his stats then to say he's bad. The year before he was on pace for 20+ goals and 40pts.
A so so year from Matias will see him net 30pts. A bounce back year I can see him having 50+ pts.
Roy is a 30-40pt guy every year.
These 3 players combined net you similar production to Marner as long as injuries don't happen.
Roy, Joshua and Matias– 90pts
Marner– 100pts
We get a top six RW (Jared McCann please lol) or a defenseman with a Shot. You're gaining far more production and Offensive flexibilty.

Honestly just trade Robertson… he's becoming a HUGE distraction to this team in general now. For the past 2 years he's been in headlines. A 1-2M guy should not be in the headlines negatively like this all the time. It's time to move him.
