  1. my gosh get over this already !!
it was just a joke interview , the whole playoffs he didn't get interviewed cuz he refused , he's a good goalie he just had a hard time last season that's it !

  2. i'm aware of that, but the team lost, so as a principle, i would try to be low profile because the other team was able to beat me. And maybe last year we let him smile a little bit too much. you probably know that his off-ice attitude sucked. So Price should try to be like Jaroslav Halak. Like a real goalie.

  3. I don't think Price should've done this interview during last year's playoffs especially with the way last season went in Montreal. It shows a bit of immaturity on his part.

However, Price seems to have found his groove again this year. He just needs to improve on his consistency. He has amazing potential and has proven to be a winner.

  4. There's no way MTL would have won the Cup that year. They relied mostly on their PP and Kovalev played over his head. In the playoffs, the Habs showed their weaknesses: small, losing board battles and too many perimeter shots which made Biron look like god.

Huet is a mediocre goalie. He has never performed well in pressure situations if you are a Habs fan, you would know that. Price performed well in the playoffs that year, he had a shut-out against the Bruins one game.

  5. hes so sexyyy !
and ppl calm the fuck down. he owns halak and he has a sick personnality on top of tht.

  6. wow, racism in the NHL!!!
luckily price is on the good side of the blacks and not on the wrong side otherwise it would be a beatdown

  7. Exactly. Carey has no drive to win. Jaro does. He does everything he can to keep the puck out of the net. Jaro is the much more like Roy than price.

  8. I'm personally a Carey Price fan and I'm glad Bob Gainey brought in some character guys like Gionta, and co. Price FINALLY started to realize he can't coast on talent alone. I really don't think it was a character problem, I think it was just a MATURITY problem. Now, he realizes he ever wants to have success at this level (the NHL), he's going to have to work a lot harder.

I'm glad he's changing his work ethic/attitude. I hope he doesn't get traded but if he does, I wish him the best.

  9. Honestly, don't hold this against him. He was 21 when he said this. I think Price was just an immature, punk kid who started to believe the hype and thought he could just coast on talent alone. He achieved so much at a young age and has won at all prior levels seemingly without much effort. But he got humiliated by Halak this season and now he realizes his game isn't where it needs to be and he has to work A LOT harder if he wants success at this level.

  10. @Zilla2251

Exactly. And it's not like this was moments after having lost, I mean what is he supposed to do, mope every time there's cameras around so the fans know he feels bad? OFCOURSE he would after losing. But you get over it and move on. Carey is pretty stoic in interviews but it's clear that when he's on the ice he is very intense and emotionally invested, sometimes too much. So to accuse him of not caring and being "clueless" is f*cking stupid.

  11. @ProudToBeAFinn You might as well just eat them right now. Halak is doing unbelievable in St. Louis right now, he's averaging like 2 goals on 40 shot games… And he's just getting warmed up.

  12. @ProudToBeAFinn I know, Price is my favorite goalie as well the the Habs being my favorite team. I know all about how good Price is doing now, buuut I also can't deny what Halak did for us in the post-season, not to mention his performance so far in Saint-Louis. I do believe Carey is the better goalie and I was unbelievably happy when I found out my favorite team would be keeping my favorite goalie, trading Halak instead. But either way, in my opinion Halak isn't just a one hit wonder.

  13. my god cabbie…CALM THE FUCK DOWN! Shit any minute he's seriously gonna bend one of the players over and….. 🙁

  14. Price has matured so much these past two years, I like that he is not so casual about losses anymore.
