The 2021 first round pick has spent three seasons in the AHL refining his game. With the Bruins, the 22-year-old has shown glimpses of his potential in an NHL lineup. Coming in at number three is Frasier Minton. Acquired by Boston from the Toronto Maple Leafs in the Brandon Carlo trade, the 21-year-old was called up to the Bruins towards the end of the season, playing six games and scoring a goal. He split his time between the NHL and AHL during the 202425 season. Impressing in Providence, Minton could be one of the young players to get an opportunity with the NHL club at the start of the season. At number four is Dan Lockmelis who played most of last season in college with UMass before transitioning to the AHL. In 40 games with the Minutemen, the Latvian native tallied eight goals and 25 assists for 33 points. After signing with the Bruins, Lochmelis quickly made an impact in Providence, scoring three goals and nine assists for 12 points in six regular season games.
