I like the hot takes except for the last one, I think they'll make wild card again narrowly and have another first round ejection. I don't think they're ready for a deep playoff run for another 2-3 years but I think playoffs are on the table after what happened this season

Slafkovsky was shuffled around at the beginning of last year. It wasn't until December that he was permanently on the first line.
Had he played with Suzuki and Caufield all year last year he would have crossed 60 points and no one would be worried about him.
Back half of the year will be insane, 3rd in the division..
