The OHL offers more games 68 regular season and thus minutes for development. I'm fine with Schaefer going back to Erie, but would be okay with him going over to Sweden to play with Eklund. If he looks great in camp and the first 9 games, then go get'em.
the reason he does not want to go to college because he will be so over matched. also after just playing 17 games what makes you think he has the endurance to play 25 games. this guy is not what you think, where is he going to play with 18 and under, give me a break., dude grow up, go to college for a year, get your lumps and the go to the AHL next season. wow you are going to be one of the best players in the 18 under league,, ,goodie for you
