  1. That is a tall tale. The guy has good pedigree, had success etc.

The morrissette guy is a comedian, he's not an analyst.

  2. What's even funnier to me is that last season, after Dobeš had won his first 3-4 games, so many Habs fans on Reddit and YouTube were claiming that he was the new Dryden and that Montembeault ought to be traded. When I advised caution, the grief I was given was miles beyond reasonable.
I believe that whilst he's never going to be the new Price or Dryden, he might well be around for 4-5 years.

  3. Louis Morissette is an ex-Comedian, now having his own podcast. That said his opinion isn’t worth $hit… not more than some dudes named Kyle or Good ol’ Lucas playing Insider living in a basement..!

Loves the videos as always Gio, keep the grind going the season is near! 💪

  4. Please Lego, don’t think Louis Morissette is an analyst worth listening to when it come to hockey. He is first a writer and comedian and second a simple fan with a very pessimistic view of life in general and of the Canadiens habilities to reach new milestones in theinebuilt. Dobes is fine ea will establish himself in the NHL. Morissette comment is just learned helplessness from some fans who have no t seen their team win the cup in many many years. Go Habs go!i

  5. I wouldn't give much credibility to what Louis Morissette says. He is just a fan like anyone, his opinion is not worth it

  6. no one cares about louis morissette opinons his not the coach and doesnt know puck…..did you also had to make a video about thos 🙄

  7. Who cares, this dude isn't any more credible then the Atlantic when it comes to evaluating players. Both are irrelevant. Sure he may not be with the Habs in 2 years but there will be a job somewhere for him for sure. There isn't any reason to think Dobes isn't going to beat out Kahkonen. To me it is the other way around, Kahkonen has to prove he is the best option in the backup slot. It is Dobes job to lose.

  8. He’s a big athletic 24 yr old goalie with NHL wins and playoff experience. He’s the literal prototype of the goalie you look for to take off in his late 20’s…

  9. Man, don't put any weight into what Louis Morissette says, he's a TV show writer/comedian/former stand up guy. He was really just a "guest". Even if it comes down to Fowler/Monty in a couple years, Dobes is likely going to be solid enough if we have to trade him to get some other player(s) very much worthwhile when that happens. Morissette isn't a sports commentator, as a guy from QC, don't worry about what this dude had to say.

Plus, he's a Czech goalie, he might have some of that Hasek type goaltending in his DNA 😅
