  1. The exact same thing happened last year so not surprised. The price jump per box from 2023 is just crazy.
Small box went from $25 to $40
    Collector's box went from $200 to $330.

The in the cart checkout time is very misleading. Though the item/s are in the cart, this release sells out within 3 to 4 minutes. Therefore, if you're not within the 3 to 4 minute wait check out time range you will miss out. At this point, there really was no reason to have customers in line for at the 5 minute mark let alone a 8 minute wait time when it had already sold out.

The Shoebox release looks enticing but once I saw you go over the auto checklist the price just went up in my head considerably.
Hopefully Topps won't over exploit yet another release.

  2. Maybe Topps one day could offer β€œmanufacturer” coupons. Similar to grocery store coupons. So, if you log on to their site on release day & fail to secure a box they could then provide a coupon that you can use at an official Topps partner (large distributors). The coupon probably wouldn’t offset the increased secondary market price but it would be something. Just a thought.
