Chuck, youâre crazy! Ghost and Sanheim were never better than Ivan Provorov. Ghost was a bona fide power specialist. Ghost was as weak as weak gets defensively. As for Sanheim, just stop it. Nobody was blocking Sanheim from breaking out. Sanheim isnât nearly as physical as Provorov and canât lockdown a spot on the power play. Iâm not saying Provorov was ever anything special on the power play. Iâm saying Sanheim canât even get on it and stay on it. Most importantly Sanheim always had better and more reliable partners. Justin Braun had no business being the most reliable partner Provorov had as a Flyer. Provorov and Sanheim are not the same age, Sanheim is older and it shouldnât have took Sanheim until he was 26-27 to figure it out. Sanheim has only had 1 better season than Provorov, just one. This past year Provorov was better.
Timonen, Provorov, Sanheim, Ghost and maybe Mark Streit for me.
I would have gone Niskanen for that 5th d-man spot. But the list of considerations includes Streit but not Meszaros?
And for worst âmomentâ, itâs got to be the quarantine ruining a truly fun team that was absolutely boat racing the league at the time. The Ghost trade is second.
Provorov the guy does charity work, Provorov the guy just didnât want to wear a rainbow so we have to be realistic here provy was better than Sanheim. Provy also was never the same after they ran him into the ground and injured his shoulder the hate on him because the rainbow is insane
Steve Mason wasnât traded for bob, Mason was really good for this team and they couldnât score or defend in front of him. The Mason hate is also crazy. Mason started 19 out of the last 21 games and dragged them to the playoffs

Kevin Bieksa did the Superman punch on Radko Gudas. I saw a Nasty Knuckles short on it which is funny.
Kimmo, Provorov, Ghost, Sanheim, and either Streit or Gudas for me. After kimmo got traded Provorov was the best and it wasnât that close. Woke culture at its finest here.

Mason, Cech, Hart, Biron and Boosh. 1 year of bob is just eh⊠really? Does he deserve to be on the list?
I was glad Gostisbehere left. Provorov was just railroaded by the comcast rainbow people, wish we could have kept him
Maybe Provy was not the guy in the lockeroom that he should have been? I donât know, but I loved the fact he refused to participate in the Pride Game Digust! I pre-purchased tickets to a game that I didnât know was a pride game. After driving 5 hours from Va Beach to Philly, not only did I not enter the Wells Fargo Center, I didnât try to sell or give the tickets away. I threw them away, because I didnât want to actively take any part in exposing others to that sickness!
I was at that Ed Snider bracelet game. After it was conveyed that if the fans kept throwing them on the ice the Flyers would get a penalty, every single Crapitals fan in my section threw theirs on the ice. And of course as we know the Flyers actually did get a bench minor.
Up there on my list of "What the $#@% did they think would happen?" moments.
