  1. He's amazing on the PP, but Koivu is not as good as Hage overall. Hage generated off the rush and was all over the ice.

  2. Regarding ratings (of Martin St Louis, Nick Suzuki, etc,)… Stop worrying about it. Let the world underrate the whole team. There is NO FAN BASE more knowledgable then that of the Habs. There is no city that is more of a hockey city than Montreal. Let the others think whatever they want…as long as the Cup comes back. The ratings of the ignorant simply don't matter. Stanley Cups do matter.

  3. Calm down boys. It is a summer showcase. Let’s see how he does in Liiga this year. Still, his play is encouraging.

  4. You keep on stating the obvious, that Marty is a good coach, but ignore the elephant in the room…the fact that his assistant coaches, Robidas and Letowski, are incompetent. Doesn't matter how much the team loads up on talented defensemen, the D core will never get close to reaching its full potential until these two are replaced. I know, you'll tell me the PK didn't do that bad last year…but I expect a slide next year. The ridiculous strategy of forming a little STATIC box that allows opponents all the time in the world to set up plays around the perimeter without getting pressure is doomed to failure in the long run. His assistants aren't helping Marty, they're hurting him. If Gorton and Hughes are serious about building a contending team, they will have to address this problem.

  5. The worst thing that a prospect can do is show zero offensive production at one of these world class tournaments. The fact that Koivu has 6 goals in this showcase can never be taken away from him and is proof that he is amongst the world's best under 20 yr olds. This outburst of offence will only help his career and will make Habs' management grow their faith and confidence in him.. It really seems like the Habs are chock full of future NHL players..
