  1. Get em to retain half and ship Rasmussen and maybe a pick back to Pittsburgh. Do the wings have any Kyle Dubas type guys we could toss in as a sweetener?

  2. We could actually use a guy like Charot. How bout Charot,a bottom 6 forwards,& maybe a mid round pick? Girard has been a trade option for a few yrs.And AVS fan we gotta do something with the bottom 6 so I think Detroit could be a natural trade partner. AVS don't have to do something by Opening night necessarily. But by the trade deadline at the latest-they are 1 or 2 trades from having the roster we need to be a true Cup contender. Our top 6,top pair,& goaltending are set-as good as anybody. And the Coyle/Wood trade gave us the cap space,& a replenished a few assets back in order to do what needs to be done. The bottom 6 must be strengthened,& we really could use a lil different mix on 2nd or 3rd pair.

Nuggets already went out this summer,& made the necessary 2ndary,& 3rdary moves they needed to remake their depth,& remain a legit contender. But the AVS still have a little work to do the same. Both teams have league MVPs in their primes,& got a go for it now.Try to win again in next 3-4 yrs & almost the future be damned. Just like the Nuggets-Avs don't need to make any major moves or mess with the top of the roster. Unless Necas won't resign-then he would be an elite trade piece,& you'd have to do something with him by the deadline. But otherwise they just need 1 or 2 lesser moves to be where we expect-a legit West contender but they aren't there yet. I fully expect they will by the deadline but it'd be better to do it before the start of the regular season…or at least way before the deadline-if possible.

  3. Hmm, would the "some salary" they are willing to retain be the $5M they already paid as a signing bonus, perhaps?
    How magnanimous of them.

  4. Edvinsson Seider
    Girard Johansson
    Chariot Bernard Docker
The trade would involve Gustafson who has a lower cap hit and attach a 2nd so Colorado can have more space to address the scoring depth they are looking for. I don’t know much about Girard but if he’s playing top 4 minutes more often than not on a good Colorado team then he will definitely help our top 4 for sure.

  5. If he was paid 5m he’s still not what the wings need. We need a stay at home strong d man with a true number 2/3 guys. That’s changes us to a playoff team.

  6. More rumors- hockey soap operas.
When are ppl going to figure out that the vast majority of these rumors have no basis in reality?

  7. Id have them retain 0 on Karlsson. Its only 2 years and if its obvious early that this season is a wash Id like to keep the option to retain half of his cap 10 million remaining in a trade/flip.

  8. Lego bro Eric has to wave his no trade clause to come here chances are low he wants to go to ready to win team and red wings just aren’t paying that much be okay to have him for a few years there is no train of Ericcsion doesn’t want too he’s not just bringing anyone in we need to get lucky and have a stud want to come Det needs a shut down d man we already have Alex Stevie has always said he will trade for players and try to but he’s not going to f
Lend the farm until team is ready to win it’s just the wings luck that the cap goes up when we actually he money to spend good thing yes but of course look at the top 200 players inrhe NHL most have long contracts the wings unde ea new coach and bring in Asp and few others maybe one pops off and hopefully Raymond mo kasper really take steps take some spots then players are going to want to come and if they gave money at the deadline that’s when I see a trade goimg down
