if no1s gonna say it i will , maybe in a year or two when the american boston goalie is ready , until then no star goalie , no dice , at least in a year or two they will be free of , anderson, gallagher, laine and prices contract , then they can make another 1 or 2 big moves and were talking about something serious maybe if they pull it off like that
Montreal has at least 6 high light reel players. Most teams have 2-3. I see Montreal fighting for the third spot in the east. Once Reinbacher comes up and solidifies that right-left defense core, because he is a more defensive minded defenseman, Montreal will be the team to beat.
Superstar defencemen Dobson?
I love ur enthusiasm, im not quite sure we r THAT far ahead! Dobson should help, but remember, he took a decent hit in numbers last year, as compared to the year before. There are a lot of if's, but hopefully they do well. Still need a second line center, they've already tried dach at center, and it didnt work, not sure what makes them think it will work now, Demidov? He might help the strength of the line, but he cant help dach win face offs, not get hurt, and play center properly! I dont think it will be long before we get a good second line center. Id rather have a player that can lift Demidov's game, then a player that needs Demidov to elevate his game! This is probably the best Habs team a lot of younger fans have ever seen! Especially when we get that second line center, i think that's really all we need, a second line center, and a little more depth. I hope St Louis plays Xhekaj on the bottom pair, we need the grit.
96-98 points
He traded 2 first round picks and heineman …. Heineman is not top prospect !!!
Get so good so fast….LOL….they've been in a rebuild for nearly 4 years how is that fast.
I'm not sure if they'll win the cup this year, but they'll be close, and fun to watch. They're going to be a great team for a long time. They gave up very little future, and dramatically improved their present. Dach and Laine are the keys. If everyone improves like average very young players will do naturally, Demidov does as expected, they'll make the second round. If Dach and Laine produce like they can, they make the final. And they're going to be at that level for a decade.
Dobson is a one-dimensional defenseman period, the Habs should score more goals, but will no doubt allow more goals against. Will they make the playoffs? They are still a fringe team.
Good core team, great team spirit, hoping the new add-ons fit in and further cement the team spirit and dynamic, quite a few interrogations, though. How will Demidov fare in is first NHL year, Will Dobson play like 2 years ago? Will Laine and Dach be healthy and get their game back? Lots to sort out during the training camp with the replacement of Armia, Dvorak, who will get the jump to the NHL from the farm team Kapanen, Beck, Condotta, how will Mesar perform following a desastrous year in the AHL? Lots of great fun to come !
The KD line will be a monster with Bolduc and Demidov.
Allez Montreal!❤️🤍💙
Mtl have a poor club. With at leats 10 dead wood player. All Montreal fans come crazy right now and they show how much they are ridiculous.
Hyperbole much, in both directions LOL
Lots of promising young talents and a few solid veterans. Makes it look good as a potential champion rising team. The only missing thing is policemen. Sheriff Xhekaj hasn't got many deputies. They'll need some.
Are u fn kidding me?
HABS WILL NOT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS NEXT YEAR AND ST LOUIS WILL BE FIRED.
Patience is still needed with this team. Yes they made some goid pickups and the boys are progressing well. We still have a few weak spots namely goaltending and center so I'll be quite happy with some solid progress again this season and anything beyond that is a bonus.
I wouldn't call 30 years fast.
You are not from Montréal to say it was fast. Here, we felt like it took 20 years. The finals during covid time was a fluke. That was super slow imo.
You don't even know how good they got this summer. Right now it's nothing more than possibilities. There's no guarantee Dobson is going to be good in Montreal. He's bad defensively for someone with his salary. The Habs already had Hutson that was good offensively and risky defensively, they didn't need Dobson. Remember when Erik Karlsson was traded to San Jose who already had Brent Burns after they had just lost in the 6th game of the western finals? That's right, the next year they finished in the basement. If we were talking about a prime Drew Doughty, Viktor Hedman, Scott Niedermayer or Nicklas Lidstrom I'd understand the hype, but we're talking about a defenseman with a reputation for slacking and making poor decisions when it comes to defending. He's still young and can improve if he puts in the effort. But until he does, you need to stop being assertive about the improvement of the team.
Ceiling? Top 3 in the east
The cherry on top will be when Fowler takes over.
Stop putting the cart before the horse. Let’s see how it goes this coming season.
Who says they are good? They where garbage last year
You Canadian fans more delusional then oilers fans.
What is he talking about "It was a disaster against the Caps?????'
All the games were really tight minus one…..
So fast??? They have sucked for years. You are an idiot
If they put Dach on waivers right away, they might make the playoffs, but nothing more.
You don't get far without a second line center, it's too easy to stop one line.
They aren't the first to try this build from behind. San Jose and Nashville recently did try and it didn't work out for them. I don't believe it will work for the Habs either. I don't believe they have the pieces anymore to get one, so the rebuild is pretty much finished and there won't be a second center line of note. It will hurt the team greatly. With a bit of luck they might be a playoff team, like in the top 3 in regular season in a few years, but being a contender, it won't happen.
Still a transition year for Montreal,Demidov first year,Dach last chance and Laine last year of contract.Still a few players in Laval that are going to go up in the next year or two and maybe a trade or two. They wont be contenders this season but they will be fun to watch.i give them 2 more years and this team will be contenders for a long time.
This video is describing one possible version of the future that can happen … or not. Just saying it does not make it.
One more forward that can score 60 points with a little size and they are cooking
Good enough to not make the playoffs?
Expecting a big year from them. Hoping for playoff appearance
What do you mean? They're NOT good, and wherever they are, it wasn't fast. You're just missing data.
Is this AI bullshit?
they're winning the cup
