The should keep Domi and try him on the top line with Matthews. He was excellent on that line two years ago and him and Matthews gelled. I think.we can trade some spare parts for extra cap space and go into the season with what we got. There will for sure be a buyout or a player put on waivers we can scoop up mid season if we have cap space, but we need to get in season with Cowan and see if he is ready to play in the NHL.

I was close I just wrote this mornong Robertson would get between 1.75 and 1.8. That to me is too high to keep him. I think now that he's signed he will likely end up being traded for sure. I don't see him starting the year woth this team he will be involved in the trade to get the tip forward.

With the number of forwards he’ll likely be put on waivers at the beginning of the season. If he doesn’t get picked he will be on the Marlies.
He always seems to score. Would be nice to have a real look at him over 20 games.
Leafs need scoring, Robertson can provide that. Not all Leafs players need to be 7ft tall and weigh 300 pounds. Robertson needs to play 70 games.

MLSE has showed over and over that they don't like Robertson and have punished him for being vocal about a trade. Next time they do something unfavorable, don't try the "its a business" bullshit. They are not treating the Robertson issue as a business…Trade the guy and let him play…
Roberts never was given much of an opportunity…10 min a night is a joke. If he was a legit prospect they needed to play him more. The media always would attack his size…..idk JD Bunkis all the time and that idiot Mckee. I like sportsnet just not Mckee. Guy is clueless about hockey and annoys the hell out of me. That said, the majority of players in the HHOF are undersized guys. The bigger you are the less athletic ability you have. You don't want too big…I don't care what you say. For the past several weeks, this channel has been saying Nick Robertson was gonna get 1 million or so. And I’ve been saying for several weeks in the comments that he was gonna get much closer to 2 million if he went to arbitration.
Great price if he plays and scores 20-25 it’s a steal and if he isn’t playing up to par it’s a very tradeable number
Why would any team do the Leafs a favor?
