I love Danny Cleary. He was a warrior wearing a Wings sweater and he's a perfect leader to help these young men achieve their NHL dreams. He makes a terrific point that we all overlook–the AHL is a tough league to play in and the jump to the NHL is huge. Theres a lot of guys that never make it past the AHL that are good players. Great interview Dan–great representation for the team. I'd like to see him move up the management chain–I think he'd be a really good GM.
Cleary is part of the management team with Draper, Horcuff, N Lindstrom, and N Kromwall, who Yzerman trusts to drive decisions and put a team on the ice in a parity league where Detroit is not a preferred destination.
Daniel is very comfortable in front of the camera. I always loved him wearing the Winged Wheel (ignoring the last two years he was signed) and now he looks like he is totally in his element developing our prospects. That is great value from a depth signing. 😀

Is Cleary still going to brag about how many "women" the Wings are hiring this year? DEI simp.
Hearing Cleary talking about prospect development is an absolute feast.. Feeding families.
