  1. The Pens Are Gonna Move Anybody That They Can Move 💯 Malkin Isn't Gonna Be Resigned 😎 Karlsson, Rust, Rakell, and Everyone Else Besides Sid Is On The Block 😉 I Can't See Sid Leaving Unless He Demands A Trade 👀

  2. IF Malkin played beyond this coming season with the Penguins it would have to be on a Tavaras like contract. Meaning about 3.5-4.5 million per year and I would just go 1 year. But realistically I can see next year Malkin and Ovi going back to Russia and playing together for a season or two.

  3. let's go Pens ! Let's appreciate Shannon making this video about his archenemy and fighting a wish to strip and tear that hated jersey. Shannon is a real pro !

  4. I am a diehard lifelong Flyers fan, but one of my good buddies is a diehard Penguins fan (yes, you've read that right). The Pens are a step behind a total rebuild only because of Crosby. Once he moves (or retires), they'll be free to negotiate a better future. Otherwise, they're just spinning their wheels.

  5. How many veterinarians cancel the penguins in the future….. This is the german translation for the video. I thinkthe AI reaches new hights here…

  6. Heinen will not be on the second line lol That space, or a switch for Rutger, will be for Koivunen. Rutger and Koivunen both came up with about 8 games left in the year. Between them both it was Koivunen who played better and he had 7 assists in the 8 games he played. Those points came on both the 1st & 2nd lines. So, again, Rutger and Koivunen will be in the line up this season, and may be sharing duties on 1st and 2nd lines. Thanks for this Pens show HockeyGuy, 🙏

  7. Karlsonn will be gone, he doesn't want to be there and the Pens don't want him. I think players like Heinen, Hayes, Accari and Mantha are all trade bait.

  8. The Penguins should been a decent team with is strong leadership from Sudney Crosby allong with his ever-strong production combind with the tallent pool the team holds….and yet they don't even make the play-offs (?) I have low confidence in Tristan Jarry, and defense don't feel solid enough.
Just don't see how they can ever bounce back in Crosby's era. There might be need for a re-build that will take A LONG TIME to make.
Not as strong either like the Pens did between 2002-2006 when they sucked evrey year (beside Mario Lemieux the team was bare scrapped), but got in the drafts generational tallents in Fleaury, Crosby, Malking & Letang etc.

  9. I though trading Malkin to Florida anout 5yrs ago made sense. I picked that team because he has a house there also & i think he would’ve waved his no trade clause. Both he & Letang or at least 1 of them should’ve been traded after the 2018 season. Sorry to other Penguins fans who always come at me on their Reddit page, but I cheer for crest & not married to players. The value you could’ve potentially gotten back, that ship has sailed a while ago.

  10. Brittle, old, slow, unable to play defense. Their younger players must raise their game, and whatever the new coach brings better be good. Or they will be the top draft picker. Zero optimism from me.

  11. Reilly (tor) to pits for jarry who then gets flipped to edm for janmark n skinner. Tor then flips skinner (with kampf) to Seattle for mcann n grubauer (50% ret), then move woll to Calgary for Anderson. 😂

  12. Either they have a promising bounce from reclamation projects or young prospects, or they pick top five. Win win for me

  13. Idk what pittsburgh would do, i feel like they are ok going down with the ship. But i really really would like to see crosby go to minney, give pittsburgh the farm for him.

  14. Pono did sign in the khl. McGroarty did well end of season on Crosby’s line. Koivunen likely makes it too cause he did well end of season both on Geno’s line and then on Crosby’s line after the McGroarty injury.

  15. My predictions:
    McGroarty-Crosby-Rust
    Novak-Malkin-Koivunen
    Mantha-Hayes-Tomasino
    Heinen-Lizotte-Brazeau
    Pickering-Letang
    Graves-Dumba
    Wotherspoon-Clifton
    Jarry
    Silovs
Acciari, St. Ivany, Shea will be the extras
Rakell and EK traded in offseason.
Hayes, Heinen, and one of Clifton or Dumba will be traded at the deadline and replaced with Broz, Puustinen, and St. Ivany with Alexeyev getting a call up to possibly replace Graves if he struggles again this season. Lizotte could be traded or extended. If he isn’t extended to be a vet presence in the bottom 6 for the future, then he will also be traded. Acciari and one of Dumba/Clifton will be kept to not end up in a position like last year of being short players trading too many and having to buy real quick just before the deadline day ended.

  16. Didn't Pittsburgh finish the season 12-5? They got better over the summer, why would they be the worst team in the league? Maybe you've never watched Sid play before, but tanking isn't going to happen. And I love how everybody that knows nothing about the Penguins has them trading players with no trade clauses.

  17. Malkin has said in interviews that he doesn't care about winning as much as he cares about playing with Crosby and Letang so I do feel like if one of them goes they'll all go.

  18. I think Rakell goes by the deadline, but I think Jarry and Karlsson are unmoveable. Malkin will most likely retire before he goes somewhere else.

  19. I do think Letang and Malkin go, but CRosby seems confortable staying and retiring as a Penguin. it will be up to utside forces to try and woo him away.

  20. I expect absolutely nothing from the Pens. As for how long this rebuild will take, I quote Bill Murray in Groundhog Day: "it's gonna be cold, it's gonna be grey and it will last your lifetime".

  21. Also another thing about Crosby that nobody even mentions is how strong and healthy he is at the age, and that he shows no signs of quitting any time soon.

I think Crosby plays til his mid or late 40s

  22. Rakell-Crosby-Rust
    Koivunen-Malkin-Mantha
    McGroarty-Novak-Tomassino
    Heinen-Lizotte-Brazeau

Tristan Broz will be up and down.

    Pickering-Karlsson
    Letang-Clifton
    Shea-Dumba

Brunicke will be up and down

  23. Watch for Ville Kouivenen to start on Crosby line. Rut struggled to keep up with rust and Crosby last year. Ville will thrive on top line

  24. Koivunen and owen pickering will probably be starting opening day. they're going to lean into the youngersters. Rust and Rackell aren't going anywhere, you'll probably see Accari, Hayes and Dewar get moved out for whatever. If the kids play well they might just squeak into the playoffs. they won't be in the running for the #1 pick
