SURPRISING Bruins Trade Incoming… Report Drops WILD Update | Boston Bruins News

We have a surprising Bruins trade incoming as multiple reports are dropping some very wild updates with names like Rasmus Anderson surrounding the top market for this Boston Bruins team. We’re going to be breaking that down as well as going over a major update regarding James Hagens here at the end of the video. So stick around to find out what that is. Before we do jump into this video though, ladies and gentlemen, be sure to hit the sub button if you haven’t already. We had a lot of Bruins news still coming and we’re teetering more now towards the trade market as the Bruins are looking to add one more player before we get to this season. And like I said, be sure to hit the sub button if you haven’t already. We’re on the road to 8K. Your sportsman absolutely phenomenal as of late. And I appreciate everybody watching these videos right now in the dog days of summer. But we need to jump straight into this here. And I want to first go over a quote coming out regarding the Bruins trading for Rasmus Anderson. And when this comes down, I made a video on it before, but Michael D. Rosa from the hockey news went out and said this. If the Bruins acquired Anderson from the Flames, he would give them a massive upgrade for the right side of their second pairing. He could be a great fit in the pairing with Hamilton, but also could work with playing alongside former Flames teammate the key to Zidorov. In addition, due to his high amount of offensive skill, Anderson will be an obvious option for the Bruins power play. Now, as I mentioned, we’ve spoken about Rasmus Anderson a bit here on the channel before, but it does seem like things are continuing to heat up throughout the summer, and we know that teams are talking with the Calgary Flames on trying to acquire Rasmus Anderson before the season starts. And Rasmus Anderson is a very interesting option for a few reasons. First of all, he’s in the last year of his deal. Super super cheap deal at that. And you know what you’re getting out of him. And as you look towards his, you know, career stats, he’s been a very solid player overall. Oh, you know, the offense has taken a little dip this past few seasons, but so the Calgary Flames. You look at, you know, not I wouldn’t say the prime Calgary Flames, but the Calgary Flames have been good over the past few years, you’re getting some, you know, 60 point, 47 point, 57 point, you know, you get the kind of the realm of when the Flames were good as percentage obviously good. So, putting him on a team that can produce on offense, can, you know, hold his own on defense, things are very interesting in this instance for the 28-year-old. As I mentioned, pretty cheap price tag when on the final year of a six-year deal, $4.5 million. This is one that a lot of players and a lot of teams will be super interested in due to the fact that you can add a g a guy like Grasp Anderson. You can add his game to your team and at $4.5 million for what he brings is an absolute steal. Now, there are some other things that come with this would be an extension. And the extension would certainly hold a heavy price tag, which we’re going to jump into here in a few moments. But you see on the depth chart there behind uh underneath Zam there and behind the Calvary Flames kind of defensive scheme. He’s their first pairing defenseman. And with the Bruins, he would be taking a little bit of a seat back. However, would still be a major impact on this team with Charlie Makavoy and also on the right side having a very interesting name still in Henry Okihari with Andrew Peak also being on that third line right now. But when we do take a look at the defense, and of course, you know, I I feel like, and I’ve said this a lot, I really do feel like you could mix this entire defense up and it will still be very fine. There’s something I’m going to jump into, which I’m a bit hesitant on in any sort of trade for Rasmus Anderson. But when you’re looking at the defense right now, you could add one more player to this right side. That’s why Rasmus Anderson has been, you know, really name dropped here among other defenseman that we’re going to cover in some later videos. But when we do look at, you know, I do think that this defense would realistically be fine in any sort of game that, you know, you want to see this team succeed in. Very young right side, little bit of an older left side, but you have Mason Lorai there who’s going to be the future left-handed defenseman one on this team. You know, assuming any crazy moves happen. This Bruins team has really built the defense that they want to get. Now, the part that really concerns me a bit is the extension that would come with him, specifically in this case for the Boston Bruins. The extension per AFP analytics and cap wages is looking like a 7 by7.7 million deal. Now, that is not a bad price tag at all for Asmus Anderson. But when it comes to the Boston Bruins and this price tag, that’s where things get a bit rocky in my opinion. and really looking at the way that the defens’s contracts are structured, and we’re going to look at that here in a moment as well, a 7.7 for a second line defenseman, when you’re looking at every other contract that this defense features is a bit of a a kind of a risk that the Bruins would have to go with. And of course, you know, you have Henrioki, you have Mason Lai, two, you know, cheaper contracts. They’re not necessarily cheap when it comes to uh you know a third line pairing, but knowing what those guys are going to be able to do for you know in any other scenario, second line, power play, penalty kill, wherever you want to put those guys, it really does make a lot of sense. But the Bruins would be putting out a lot of money towards the defense here. And when you’re looking at just say a 7.7 million deal instead of Andrew Peak, you have a 9.5, 7.7, a 3 million on the right side. The left side would feature a 6.5, a five, and a 3.2. And you know, I’m not going to do any quick math here, but that’s a lot of money to allocate to your defense when you have an 11 million player on offense and another contract coming to Morgan Geeki. And presumably, we’re going to see some bigger contracts coming over the next few seasons as well with names like James Haggin eventually coming into this roster and getting his uh you know, end of his rookie year deal. We’re going to get a lot of those and that’s where a lot of issues are going to arise later on in this Bruin system. And you know, you kind of assume Hamp Linds may be out by them. Makavoy seems to be here for the long stretch and so does the rest of these names here. So there are some things that could be worked around. Certainly, you know, teetered around and you need to look at this to make sure you can get this done and obviously ship out maybe someone like Andrew Peak in this sort of deal to be able to get rid of him. I don’t believe we have a price tag now for Raspus Anderson. Let me know in the comments below if we do because that would really be able to, you know, allocate what price tags, what players, what games will be going out of Boston to Calgary in exchange for a phenomenal defenseman in um in Rasmus Anderson and especially at, you know, his age adding to this roster. He would become the old uh right-handed defenseman on this team, which immediately, you know, is a crazy sign to be able to really look at and say, “Hey, this defense is already very, very good at such a young age.” But I want to know what you guys think about that here in the comments below. And remember, if you do know a price tag for Rasmus Anderson or if you kind of, you know, project one, let me know in the comments below. Kind of let me know what your, you know, thought process would be behind getting in Rasmus Anderson and shipping somebody else out on this team because, you know, it’s not as easy as one and two. You got to go through a few steps there. But we need to jump into uh James Hagens. Another one that I kind of mentioned here, and we do have an update regarding his status for next year. And coming into the season, we don’t really know what was going to happen, but we do now have a quote from James Hagens coming out and really confirming where he will play next season. He says, “I want to be able to win a bean pot, be able to win a national championship. Everyone has their roles, but our goal is winning, and that’s what we want to do. We fell short last year and hopefully going to happen this year.” So, it’s all but confirmed at this point that James Haggins is going to be going to back to Boston College for another year before coming to the Boston Bruins. And it is something that we expected. You know, I didn’t want to say it was guaranteed, but we did expect this move, and this is absolutely the right decision for him here in this instance when you’re coming down to uh, you know, whether to play in the NHL or not. Obviously, you’re going to be living at your dream. You’re ready there. But another year in Boston College is absolutely crucial for his developments. And I think that Don Sweeney, Cam Neely, Adam McUade, anybody in, you know, directly involved with the situation had told him, you need to go back to Boston College for this last year, and we’re going to wait for you here. Trust me, you know, the way that this system is going to be kind of working out next year, you’re only going to get better the year after with, you know, many trades that are going to go down throughout this season, you know, going towards the trade deadline, the draft next year with two first round picks. The Bruins are giving so many opportunities to a lot of these players here in this upcoming season to, you know, really earn a spot when this rebuild is coming to an end. And the way that James Haggin’s development next year will really matter with Boston College will be much more important than this season with the Boston Bruins. And I think that’s what they thought as well. Now, when we do come down to James Hagen as well, 37 points, 37 games last year, that’s why he dropped down to seven to the Boston Bruins, we know that a lot of teams kind of fell back on him because of the production that he had was not really meeting their standards. But when you’re looking at a first year in college and Boston College at that 37 and 37 really is not bad and a player who’s already up to 190, he said going to be a stronger game, going to be playing with a lot of his former or future Boston Bruins teammates. this is the right decision for him to make and he’s going to really show why he should have been that first overall pick as he was projected a few months ago but one more thing before we finish it off I did want to pull up the sheer amount of forwards on this team and Christian Costadinski is also going to Boston College not listed here as he is a defenseman but the forwards Andre Casso James Hagens Oscar Yelvic go down there to Dino Chernel and William Moore for this final set of Boston College players going to be playing with the Boston Bruins in the future this is very exciting to see you know obviously getting to see what these guys will do together and that’s going to be something that we’re going to be keeping a very close eye on throughout the summer but also into next year. So, let me know what you think about that as well. That’s all I got in this video. If you did enjoy, give it a like, hit the sub button as well. I’m signing out though. Thank you for watching. Hope you have a great day. See you later.
