Lukas Rousek: “Otroligt kul att vara på plats”
[Music] in craft [Music] Lucas Rosk we say welcome to who’s going to garden and yaing and yet how is it to be here like uh I am so happy to be here. Uh it’s look very nice here the city and team and um I’m just happy to be here my first couple days. What’s your impression so far? Like the city and here like how the city beautiful looks and um what we have in the in the rink and around the rink and my teammates and everybody around around the ring and you met your teammates now and the coaches and and uh so on for a couple of days. What’s your impressions of the team? Like u like the coach said like we have new season, new years, couple new players, new faces, but we have everybody have one dream and it’s a put it back the team where we want to be and just uh just focus for a season. And uh you coming here for the SHL for the first time. What’s your expectations of playing here? My expansion is like help the team to win more game uh mostly game weekend possible and just play my hockey what I play last couple years but I know it’s be a little bit difference because the ranks is bigger but I spoke with my old teammates in Rochester about the Swedish league and HV71 and they just give me good reference. Yeah. What can you come in with your your style of hockey? My style of hockey be like a playmaker and um creative and offensive zone for my teammates and um pass pass them for the for the shots and made a made good place. Mhm. And you have a couple of seasons back in the North America uh behind you. Uh how is that those seasons been for you? I think it’s been for me a couple good years. Uh I play a lot. Uh we had a good good group there, good team and just play how I play. Nothing change and just be myself. And now coming here to to Sweden and play here. Uh why would you the decision you made that uh tell us about that? Uh I spoke with my family with my friends all teammates like uh I want to stay somewhere somewhere outside in Czech Republic and uh it was I think it was best destination where I can do it’s go to the Swedish because it’s a very very good league and I I’m happy I’m here. We had some good Czech play players since before here uh all from Raan Lens last year to Jan Hardina. So we have a good tradition there. Oh yeah. Yeah. Uh I spoke with Robin Lens. I had couple practice with him and we talk a lot about the city and everything and just give me good reference too. And for the first day here’s a lot of testing. How has that been? Oh yeah testing. I never had uh this test before because we have just couple in US and check but yeah pretty pretty good so far but we’ll see for next couple two days how how it goes. And you uh tested on the ice as well. Uh a lot of skating with with your teammates today. How was that? Yeah, it was pretty good. Mostly everybody was in ice today and just played the scrimmage and it was fun and just just go to the motion. Sounds good, Lucas. Uh nice to have you here and welcome to Over once again. Thank you.
