The obvious choice is Pickard the rest of the way. The team just plays better in front of him.
Skinner is the reason that game wasn't totally out of reach after the first period. With that said, Knoblauch said it himself in the post game; during the regular season and playoffs "Pickard has made the big saves at crucial moments". Moreover, I think you have to go with the hot hand at this point—ride that 7-0. It's an interesting and pretty uncommon (if not unprecedented) conundrum for this time of year. In the same game, Skinner gave them a chance and Pickard saved the day.
Anything except Pickard doesn’t make any sense. 7-0 record speaks for itself. I love Stu but he needs a rest.
Give Pickard his due. If you save the puck and then it hits the post it’s just as spectacular as if it goes off his glove and wide. Do you understand how hockey works?😂
You could have both goalies in net and the Oilers would still loose game 6
