You could see Bol looking at Sydney pull away on that 8th hurdle and her losing all confidence in herself. Could have been worse than bronze there.
Am I the only one tired of yt hype? I have to admit I was fooled by Femke Bol, too, the way the media hyped her. I really thought she would challenge Sydney and create some excitement, but instead was blown away. Abby Steiner anyone?

This world record is awesome and by the very nature athletic records are made to be broken. I salute Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone for this feat and it's inspirational to watch this video.
I don't know why people thinks its a rivalry, to be rivals who wins has to change hands sometimes, Femke has never beaten Sydney. It wasn't even close and the commentator says if femke wasn't in the race Sydney wouldn't have run that fast 😅😅 femke was 10-15 meters behind in 3rd place, and barely got that.

Sidney is so remarkable and fluid, like a gazelle. Short note to those who forget about hurdle great: Edwin Moses is widely regarded as one of the greatest 400m hurdlers of all time. His career was marked by exceptional dominance, including a 122-race winning streak and multiple world records and Olympic gold medals.
There's only one greatest and it's definitely shows it.
