I think what’s great about being at Key Bank Center is to me it’s quintessential Buffalo. The minute you walk in there, there’s just this magic. There’s just this enthusiasm. 20,000 people all in the same room, cheering for the same team, singing the same songs. The vibe, the energy, the atmosphere is always unmatched. You walk in and you know you’re in Buffalo. It’s a hockey barn. You can feel the pride, the resilience, and the passion of this city in every cheer. They bring the city together in a way that only Buffalo sports can. It’s the city of good neighbors for a reason. And when you walk into that building, I think you understand that when we started down the process of determining where we’re going to go longterm with the name of the building, there was no consideration other than going back to Key Bank. You’ve got two great organizations, a banking organization and a team that is committed to this community. Buffalo is the northeast headquarters for Key Bank and I look at that arena as kind of the front door to our northeast headquarters. You see the connection between the savers and key bank and it just jumps right out at you. Fact is Buffalo is a critical part of our story and who we are today. We proudly display our name here as a symbol of our belief in Buffalo. It’s not just branded. It’s about a promise that we are here. We care. We are invested in helping Buffalo continue to thrive. Key Bank’s name on an arena is only one city and that’s here. That’s pretty special. Key Bank and the Sabres see it the exact same way. We feel like that can be a foundation for what’s next in the city of Buffalo. What a move. Are you kidding me? Looking forward to having you guys back in the Key Bank Center. A big shout out to the Key Bank Center. I love Buffalo with my whole heart. To be able to play in the Keybank Center uh has been a dream come true for me. Keybank Center has been a wonderful home. Being a Buffalo native myself, I’ve had so many great memories at the Keybank Center. My mom growing up, she took me to so many Sabres games, so many wrestling shows. I’ve been to so many concerts there with my friends. It’s amazing to me that we get to play in this big arena in our hometown. The building was shaking. You could actually feel it shaking. That is the loudest I’ve ever heard the building. Actually, probably any building. These guys are good. Scary good. I’m excited for this partnership to grow and to continue on for the next chapter. I can’t imagine another name on that building.
