  1. I was at the Churla game. Shawn Antoski had broken Churlas orbital bone a month prior. It was a month to the day and Shanes first game back. He wasn't supposed to fight. Good luck telling Shane he cant fight. Shame on the Rangers for dressing Shane against Grimson who was arguably the champ of the league at this point. The prior game the Rangers had dressed Langdon and Vandenbussche. They also had Eric Cairns up and Blouin in the minors. We all were yelling for his teammates to get in there. Langdon took on Grimson the next time they played. God i miss this NHL!!!

  2. In the first fight with the guy from the rangers…why did the other guys jump in? The ranger was losing but wasnt get absolutely killed???

  3. I feel like grimson lost the second fight little dude was dodging everything he through and land most of his own. Pretty sure he lost the third fight also the fourth one I gotta say if it's a win it's only because his helmet stayed on and he kept lowering his head. I didn't bother watching the rest because I knew this would be a long comment and I got shit to do

  4. the Grimson v Probert fight was interesting, as later on the two of them became teammates and were the best 1-2 punch (pun intended) in the nhl

  5. I have Stewie's White Whalers jersey from the Bushy fight and it’s the same jersey where he pulled Langdon’s jersey over his head and fed him a couple. The announcers in both those fights pleaded for “Mercy “. Stu was a very dangerous guy. Nice video bro.

  6. There's no way if I was a ref back then that I would allow a fraud so called tough guy like slimy dtu to manhandle another man like that period. Come on refs but oh my today's refs are a joke like the refs in the NBA or soccer or boxing there all the same fake power hungry mofos right or wrong .

  7. Played junior against the Reaper. Big boy. Best fight I saw was my buddy Bryan Wells fight him in Brandon. Wellsy was 5 foot 7 but tough as nails. Had a good tilt with Grimson right in front of our bench. Grimson looked 7 feet tall that year to me.

  8. Love these highlights ! I miss this Hockey.

I was/am a Leafs fan. There was a game in 92' where Stu lost his fucking marbles playing for the Hawks like LOST IT, even Mike Keenan had him tied up for a few seconds trying to calm him, he broke free and it was Dougie Gilmour that grabbed him and put him down, albeit for a split second. Kind of a quasi suplex. Different times ! Great Hockey !

  9. I have always had a negative impression of Grimson's abilities, but – to be fair – as a Wings fan, I only ever saw him getting pounded by Probert or Kocur. Seems like he was quite the guy otherwise.

  10. Quite a scrape with Probie ❤️ RIP I’ll never forget Bure taking care of Churla right behind the ref., good job by his teammates to save his life. McSorley, he can fight for 20 minutes. 💪
