It doesn't matter where Rust ends up, the main thing is that he leaves.
Edmonton should be all over Rust with a 2.5m cap hit. They need a couple of players on the team friendlies if they want a Cup-level 3rd line. McDavid pointed out that Florida's 3rd line was +20 in the playoffs after the series.
